GENERAL INFORMATION
Funtasia is a Family Friendly 2 Day Festival held in Sandown on the Isle of Wight, Its packed with lots of fun for all the family, with our jam packed entertainment arena, free kids area and stage full of local musicians running all day we also have so much more to include everything from Pony rides - Archery - Vintage tea rooms and Fairground Rides, There really is something for everyone.
HERE ARE A FEW FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS THAT MAY HELP YOU
DATES:
Funtasia 2015 gates opens Saturday 25th and Sunday26th July 2015 at Los Altos Park , The Fairway, Sandown, Po36 9EQ.
GATE OPENING TIMES
Saturday 25th July 11am-6pm
Sunday 26th July 11am -6pm
TICKETS
Weekend tickets are valid from Saturday at 11am through to Sunday at 6pm
Cost £12 per Adult - Under 16 years Free
Day tickets are available for both days. Cost £8.00 per day Per Adult
ages as above.
Each day ticket will be valid for the Specified Day on the Ticket no exchanges will be given once purchased
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Children under 15 years and under are free but entry will only be in conjunction with a paying adult.
Funtasia operates Challenge 25 on its bars, if you are lucky enough to look under 25 than you will be asked for ID.
ID ACCEPTED ONSITE
• Full or provisional photo card driving license issued by the DVLA (any photo card driving licenses issued between 1998 and 2007 will need a second from of ID)
• Passport (photocopies not accepted)
• Valid UK card bearing PASS hologram
• PASS card
BRINGING FOOD AND DRINK ONSITE
Due to licencing constraints no alcohol may be brought onto the site during the festival, bags will be searched prior to entry and if alcohol is found it will be confiscated.
No Glass Bottles or Jars will be allowed on to site this is also due to licencing constraints , these will be confiscated so please leave any bottles, glasses, jars etc at home.
We do allow you to bring a picnic into the event but again please ensure nothing is in any glass containers as it will not be allowed past the gates
LEAVING SITE
Alcohol bought onsite must not leave the Festival please make sure you have finished your drinks before you leave.
As we are a family festival and based in a residential area please be aware of your behavour leaving site and keep noise to a minimum thank you.
GETTING TO FUNTASIA

By Car to our Car park
If you are travelling from the Ryde area please take the Brading Rd until you reach the traffic lights by the train bridge as you come into sandown, turn right into perowne way and follow the road until you reach the Sandown and Shanklin Rugby club there will be Parking on offer here.
If you are travelling from Newport , Shanklin or Ventnor then please follow directions to Sandown as you come to the Tesco Express store turn left onto the Fairway, follow this road and you will come to car parking at the Rugby club and Sandown Bay Academy.
PARKING
Parking will be charged at £1 a car at the Rugby Club and there will be disabled spaces available.
from the car park Funtasia is a 2 min walk under the subway.
BY TRAIN
Train Services run all day from Ryde -Brading - Sandown-Lake- Shanklin
Please get off at the Sandown station we are just a 1-2 min walk from the train station
BY BUS
Bus Routes to Los Altos Park
There are a number of bus routes 8-2-3 that will get you to Sandown or Lake where you can use either Lake Hill bus stop and take a 10 min walk along the Fairway to us or through the second side of the park.

Routes 8-2-3 will also allow you to get of near the top of Station Ave where you can take a 5 min walk following the train station signs to the entrance of the festival.

From Yaverland -Sandown town- Shanklin a 24 bus will take you to the car park entrance of Funtasia.

DISABILITY ACCESS
Funtasia takes place on a grassy park. It is quite accesible Parking facilities are available in the Sandown Rugby Club Car Park or you may drop off outside sandown station where there is also a small car park which will be free to blue badge holders. There will be Disabled Sanitary Provision onsite. If you have any problems while onsite please do ask a steward or security member for help. Advice is also available at the Welfare Station base near the entrance.
DOGS
Well behaved dogs that are kept on a lead at all times may come onto the site, however you must clean up after your pet, if you are found to not do so then you will be asked to leave site. If any complaint is made about your pet you will also be asked to take them home.
ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
If you are found to have in your posession any illegal substances then authorities will be called and you will be removed from site, we are a family festival please respect this.
